CWF in Forbes
Matt Patterson, Executive Director of the Center for Worker Freedom, had an article published in Forbes on June 5, 2017, about how withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord saved union jobs:
“I was elected to represent the citizens of Pittsburg, not Paris,” President Trump intoned from the Rose Garden on June 1 as he announced the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris Climate Accord.
And in that one sentence, he vindicated the hopes of the millions of working-class Americans who had placed so much faith in him.
Only a non-politician could have been unswayed by the tremendous pressure bearing down on the President by the elites of both Europe and North America, almost all of whom admonished Trump to allow America to be chained to this wretched “treaty.”
Only someone unbaptized in the Climate Cult could see this ridiculous arrangement for what it is: An excuse for celebrities, politicians and bureaucrats to expense fancy trips to Davos and Brussels and other elite playgrounds, where they will gather to congratulate each other on their combined moral superiority.
Meanwhile the factories in Ohio and the mines in West Virginia would remain shuttered, and the American working class continue to numb itself on opioids as the opportunities of their fathers and grandfathers are sacrificed on the Altar of Self-Righteousness.
