Americans for Tax Reform, Center for Worker Freedom Urge Missouri Lawmakers to Pass Right-to-Work
In a letter to Missouri legislators dated January 6, 2017 (updated on January 9th), Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist and Center for Worker Freedom Executive Director Matt Patterson urge the lawmakers to vote for Right-to-Work legislation currently in Committee in both chambers.
Newly elected Republican Governor Eric Greitens is expected to sign Right-to-Work into law if the legislature sends a bill to his desk. Missouri narrowly failed to pass Right-to-Work in September of 2015 when Republicans in the State House failed to muster sufficient support to override then-Governor Jay Nixon’s veto.
“Right-to-Work is good for jobs, and it’s good for freedom. We urge you to support Right-to-Work in the interest of both,” write Grover Norquist and Matt Patterson in the letter to members of the current Missouri General Assembly.
