CWF in Forbes
Matt Patterson, Executive Director of the Center for Worker Freedom, had an article published in Forbes on September 2, 2016, about how the next Republican President should take on big labor and bring freedom to American workers:
In the last century, the United States has spent untold trillions to bring democracy to far-flung corners of the globe.
Germany (twice), Eastern Europe, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Iraq, etc. The United States has opposed military threats against democracy in all of these and more. George W. Bush’s campaign to bring democracy to the heart of the Middle East alone cost more than $2 trillion and nearly 5,000 American lives.
Here’s a thought as we enter Labor Day weekend 2016: How about bringing democracy to the American workplace? For there exists a very undemocratic regime which holds the American worker in its grip.
Liberating these workers may not be as exciting as sending soldiers to kill and die on some foreign sand; but it could be done without the cost of a single life, and for almost no money, and would substantially increase the freedom and prosperity of Americans — especially blue collar and working class Americans — especially blue collar and working class Americans.
It’s time to declare war on Organized Labor.
