The Center For Worker Freedom’s Matt Patterson wrote an article on October 30 in Forbes, detailing the UAW's continued efforts to organize the Volkswagen Plant in Chattanooga, Tennesee. Patterson equates the union with a monster on the workers' doorstep:

“Something is knocking at the door of Chattanooga, Tennessee’s Volkswagen plant in a kind of reverse trick-or-treat.

Instead of a sweet cherub in a monster’s mask asking for treats, this visitor appears in the guise of a friend bearing treats. But underneath that beatific mask lays an economic vampire that has sucked entire companies (General Motors GM +0.78%) and cities (Detroit) dry – the United Auto Workers (UAW).”
