Americans for Tax Reform, Center for Worker Freedom Urge New Hampshire Lawmakers to Pass Right-to-Work
In a letter to New Hampshire Senators dated January 19, 2017, Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist and Center for Worker Freedom Executive Director Matt Patterson urge the lawmakers to vote for Right-to-Work legislation currently before the Senate.
Newly elected Republican Governor Chris Sununu is expected to sign Right-to-Work into law if the legislature sends a bill to his desk. If the bill passes, New Hampshire would be the first state in the northeast to pass Right-to-Work.
“In addition to the economic benefits it would bring to New Hampshire, right-to-work is also the moral thing to do. Nobody should be forced to fork over a chunk of his or her hard-earned paycheck to a labor entity as a condition of employment,” write Grover Norquist and Matt Patterson in the letter to members of the current New Hampshire Senate.
