The UAW is Coming to Town

The United Auto Workers Union (UAW) is hell-bent on stealing Christmas, taking hundreds of dollars from autoworkers and their families that might have been spent on loved-ones and stuffing it into the pockets of Democratic politicians.

The UAW and the Grinch have something in common. They both steal from hardworking people. The UAW through forced dues and the Grinch through forced entry. The Grinch wants to rob people of happiness; the UAW wants power and it needs your money to get it.

The UAW is after the maintenance department at the Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga Tennessee. There will be a National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) supervised election for maintenance workers on December 3rd and 4th.

Despite the UAW’s attempt to act like Santa bringing gifts for all, Volkswagen is objecting to the election because it knows the only thing the union is bringing to its hardworking employees is coal.

These 165 maintenance workers can refuse union representation by voting NO. Otherwise, they will receive instead of a rocking horse, an Obamacare premium. Instead of a doll, another abortion clinic. Instead of a bike, they will find a Syrian refugee under the Christmas tree.

Hundreds of dollars a year are automatically removed from autoworkers’ paychecks, unless they live in a right-to-work state and opt out. According to the UAW the dues are equivalent to 2.5 hours of work a month. If the Volkswagen maintenance workers are making $26 an hour they would lose $780 a year to the UAW.

The average family of four spends over $800 on holiday gifts.

Imagine if the elves in Santa’s workshop decided to unionize. Production would decrease. Cost would increase. And all the good girls and boys would receive less presents. Some may even be left out.

Santa’s workshop doesn’t need a union. And neither does Volkswagen Chattanooga.
