CWF's fellow, Paige Halper, was published in The Daily Caller on Thursday, June 9, 2016.  Her piece, "Can You Hear Me Now?  No?  Thank A Union," recounted the recent Communications Workers of America (CWA)'s strike, including possible union sabotage of Verizon property.  

Safety concerns, stunted innovation and the preservation of outdated technology characterized the strike. 

Halper notes: 

Imagine if unions were successful in killing off other industries’ progress: replace your Twitter with the local town crier. Your packages are now at the mercy of the Pony Express. And don’t even consider owning a refrigerator – think of the milkman union!
